Family Photographer Buckinghamshire | Newborn Photography Abingdon| Baby Luca + Big Sister Ella12/3/2015 This photo session took me to Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Big sister Ella was out with Daddy at a music class when I first got there, so we took some sleepy shots of Baby Luca. Then he had a little feed to get some energy ready for his very cute sister Ella's return.
Little Luca and Ella had the most beautifully decorated home. It put my Pinterest obsession to shame. Every room was incredibly clutter free, with such well thought out and complimentary colour schemes through out. If leaving a newborn photo session completely and utterly broody isn't enough, this lovely home made we want to redecorate my whole house....The children's bedrooms were my fave!!

HI there, I don't usually make a habit of writing on people's blogs, but having just stumbled across your work, I want to compliment you on your images. I am also a photographer working in Oxfordshire. So far, I have shied away from doing many indoor, newborn photo sessions - as I always a bit nervous about available light. Can I be cheeky and ask you what lens you use? Anyway, it has been a real inspiration looking at your website - I wish you every success. Sarah

Hi Sarah, thank you for your message and feedback :) its always nice to know what other photographers think about your work. With this particular photo session I used a 35mm 1.8 lens. I have since then upgraded to a 35mm 1.4 and I use that in combinations with a 85mm 1.8. The 35mm is without a doubt my go to lens and I used it 90% of the time. If you have a lens with an aperture of 1.4-1.8 you will have no problems photographing indoors and if you do just move a little closer to window :) good luck with it :) xxx
