Family Photographer Oxfordshire | Aston Rowant Meadowy Photo session | Happy Birthday Jack10/20/2018 Almost a year ago to the day I got to photograph this little man for his first birthday. I'm hoping this is a tradition that will see him into his teens (maybe even adulthood). Jack is so so gorgeous and such a pleasant little soul, I might be bias as he is my nephew. His Mum happens to look just like me too, seeing as we are twins :). We took a walk across Aston Rowant, I was tricked into believing it was a short walk, but a few kilometres into it and the onset of torrential rain made me think other wise.
Anyway....a massive Happy Birthday Jack!! We love you!! p.s well done for staying so happy even when dripping wet :)

Buckinghamshire Wedding Photographer | Chartridge Lodge | Chesham Wedding | Vanessa + Carl |10/6/2015 Vanessa and Carl's Buckinghamshire wedding was simply beautiful. It was set amongst the grounds of the Chartridge Lodge in Chesham. The ceremony room was lined with incredible oak walls, the library where the bridal preparations took place was so traditional but equally quirky.
Vanessa and Carl were so lucky with the weather, it was a perfect day. Not a sign of rainfall and not too hot to make Vanessa want to jump out of her dress and into the beautiful pond across the lodge's green. Within the ground was a golf course and a beautiful tree lined field full of long wispy grass....which of course I couldn't resist photographing with the bride and groom. The beautiful couple married on their 13th Anniversary which is clearly lucky for these two beautiful people. Vanessa and Carl were a pleasure to photograph, their guests truly made me feel like one of the family....and oh my I was treated to the most incredible wedding breakfast. Thank you so SO much for having me xxx Today I was asked to photograph a wonderful couple celebrate their 50th Wedding anniversary and what a celebration it was. It was absolutely beautiful. The party was set amongst the grounds of the family home, which was just breathtaking. Anne + Les's children and their children had gone to such an amazing effort to make the day perfect. We even managed to get a photo of the original bridal party 50 years on!! If I am ever lucky enough to be married 50 years then I want my day to be just like this <3 ...
Todays family photo session took me to the most beautiful setting in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire. I had been contacted by Jess, a lovely Australian lady who had married a lovely English Man. They now live in Australia with their beautiful newborn baby. But had travelled back to the UK to introduce the little lady to the English side of the family. Now this is where it gets a little confusing. The photo shoot was arranged as the lovely English man had a lovely brother who had married a lovely American lady and they now lived in the US with their two beautiful children and amazingly enough they had coincided their trips so that they could spend some time together, in a beautiful cottage set amongst the cotswolds.
The brothers had not seen each other in 2 and a half years and it was incredible watching everyone interact. It was like they had never been apart. It was one of the most beautiful settings I have ever had the pleasure to do a family photo shoot and everyone spoilt me with photo opportunities! I can't express anymore how much I enjoyed this session. Just PERFECT!!!! P.S I'm going to save the baby shots from this session for another post because I just got so many squidgy baby snaps I can't bear to choose between them :-) 30th Birthday photoshoot | Special occasion photography | Family Photographer Buckinghamshire7/20/2015 Other than weddings, baby shots ...well and everything else that I do, one thing that I love doing is special occasion photo shoots. I guess its because I get to meet new people and share a special celebration with them. One massive perk of the job is getting to watch how friends and families interact. I often watch in awe at how much love there still is left in the world.
This session was for a 30th birthday. The girls had booked me as a surprise and asked the birthday girl to meet us in a park for a walk before they headed out for dinner. They'd come prepared with prosecco, champagne flutes, balloons, bunting and even a personalised birthday banner! They'd all been friends since school and it was great to see such a big group of girls being so close!! |
